The challange
The demand for client created photo specialty production is growing at 50% per annum. Both the emerging on-line brands and existing photo brands are increasingly seeking specialist contract support to outsource production.
Not an easy requirement to fulfil, multiple products, large file transfer, order reconciliation before shipment and very fast turnaround all for jobs with a run copy length of just one.
Our approach
In the past twelve months as a result, our most frequently ordered run length has of course become just one, we support a number of photo product providers including the European market leader.
Calendars, books, greeting cards and posters.
The key is bespoke workflow development, delivering fully automated production workflows which track the progress of each order using real-time JDF and barcode feedback.
The result
In peak season we can handle up to 10,000 individual orders every day and last season we did not lose a single order as part of £1 million contract.
