The challenge
Lambert Smith Hampton are a nationwide commercial property agent, with outlets across the country. They bring approximately 10-20 new properties to market each day. LSH were seeking an economic solution to create, produce and deliver professional brand compliant colour ‘Property Particulars’ flyers that are consistent across the network. The challenge required a solution to deliver within 24 hours in quantities as small as 50 copies, without skilled staff being required for the document creation.
Our approach
With volumes being as low as 50 copies, digital production would be the ideal solution. Using our HP5000 with pantone capability, we were able to produce these jobs digitally while maintaining exact colour reproduction. We then set about creating the web based interface that would allow individual clients across the network to customise templates with relevant priority details and upload the property details and location all on-line. Once these orders are complete, they are sent directly to one of the two HP Indigo Machines and if received before midday, can be printed and delivered anywhere in the UK the next morning from as little as £18.00.
The result
Following the implementation of the new solution, the average time spent by LSH staff creating these documents reduced from 45 to just 10 minutes. The quality and consistency of the details has been improved across the network and the guaranteed 24 hour service has enabled LSH to be quick to market with the highest quality marketing materials.
