Precision Printing recently supported the children’s charity Action Medical Research by printing a unique photo book which was presented by the Charity to Davina McCall to celebrate her 50th Birthday. The ‘wife, mother, friend and TV presenter’ - and fitness guru – has supported the UK-wide charity since she was a child. Inspired by her granny Pippy, she has brought her warmth, charisma and determination to countless fundraising events over the years. The book contained photographs of the many fundraising activities she has fronted for the Charity including an annual bike ride in East Sussex, the regular Dine with Davina ladies Lunch and more recently taking part in the Great North Run.

For 65 years Action Medical Research has been saving and changing children’s lives and has spent more than £115 million funding medical breakthroughs, including helping to introduce the first polio vaccines in the UK, discovering the importance of taking folic acid before and during pregnancy to prevent spina bifida, developing the use of ultrasound in pregnancy and testing the rubella vaccine. The charity is currently funding research into conditions including prematurity, epilepsy, meningitis, cerebral palsy, brain cancer and some rare and distressing conditions.
